Flordared and Ang Khang White.) ผู้เขียน:ดร.สุรนันต์ สุภัทรพันธุ์, ศาสตราจารย์, ดร.นิรันดร์ จันทวงศ์, รองศาสตราจารย์ สื่อสิ่งพิมพ์:pdf AbstractFruit growth and development of Flordared and Ang Khang White peaches conducted at Ang Khang Station from December 1979 to June 1980. It was shown that fruit growth and developmental period of Ang Khang White peach (local variety) took longer time than Flordared (the introduced variety). Flordared peach flowered later but the fruits could be harvested 45 days earlier than Ang Khang White peach. Pit harding stage began when the fruits were about 2 months ols in Flordared peach while in Ang Khang White this pit hardening stage was found in the fruits 3 months after full bloom. The periods involved during pit hardening stage were 26 days in Flordared and 64 days in Ang khang White. A double sigmoidal growth curve was found in both fruit diameter and fruit fresh weight, but the increase in fruit dry weight appeared to follow a single sigmoidal pattern. Flesh of the fruit, endocarp and seed appeared to compete for assimilates throughout fruit development. The fresh weight of endocarp and seed was rapidly increased in the first stage until the pit hardening stage after that growth rate of endocarp and seed was very slow while the rate of fruit flesh rose rapidly till harvest. |
หัวเรื่อง:ไม่มีชื่อไทย (ชื่ออังกฤษ : Study on Carbohydrates Contents in the Terminal Shoots during Bud Dormancy of Three Peach (Prunus persica (L.)Batsch) Cultivars) ผู้เขียน:Wasan Pongsomboon, ดร.สุรนันต์ สุภัทรพันธุ์, ศาสตราจารย์ สื่อสิ่งพิมพ์:pdf AbstractIrregular flowering in many peach cultivars is caused by insufficient cold period needed for breaking the dormancy of flower buds. This phenomenon is probably results from insufficient reserved food content in the shoot. The study on reserved carbohydrates contents in the terminal shoot during the dormant stage of three peach cultivars grown at the Royal Ang Khang Station, Amphur Fang, Chingmai Province was conducted. Three peach cultivars of varied chilling requirements namely Flordabelle, Ang Khang White and Ventura were studied by sampling the terminal shoots fortnightly from the beginning of bud dormancy until bud break. The terminal shoot of 5 cm long that bear these excised buds was analysed for reducing sugars (RS) and total non-structural carbohydrates (TNC) contents. The results show that the TNC content in the shoots was high at the first period after the onset of dormancy and sharply decreased thereafter. Similar pattern of changing in that dormant period was seen in the reducing sugar contents. Thereafter the reducing sugar and TNC contents were gradually increased until flowering. However, no relationship was found between the average contents of reducing sugars and TNC in the terminal shoot and the dormancy period of flower buds in these three peach cultivars. |
หัวเรื่อง:ไม่มีชื่อไทย (ชื่ออังกฤษ : Effect of Daminozide on Fruit Development and Fruit Quality of Peach (Prunus persica(L.) Batsch) cv. EarliGrande) ผู้เขียน:Chalida Trichan, ดร.สุรนันต์ สุภัทรพันธุ์, ศาสตราจารย์ สื่อสิ่งพิมพ์:pdf AbstractThe effect of daminozide on fruit development and fruit quality of peach (Prunus parsica(L.)Batsch) cv. EarliGrande revealed that daminozide applied at 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 weeks after full bloom did not affect fruit growth and fruit quality of peach incomparison with an untreated plot. The time taken from fruit set to maturity in this cultivar was about 10-14 weeks with a double sigmoid growth curve pattern. The process of pit hardening took about 4 weeks that is from 2nd to 6th week after any effect on fruit weight, soluble solids, titratable acidity, and non-structure carbohydrates contents. |

หัวเรื่อง:ไม่มีชื่อไทย (ชื่ออังกฤษ : Rescue of Peach Embryo in Culture Media with Additional of 6-benzylademine and Gibberellic Acid) ผู้เขียน:นงลักษณ์ จีนกูล, ดร.อุณารุจ บุญประกอบ, รองศาสตราจารย์ สื่อสิ่งพิมพ์:pdf AbstractCulture media and plant growth regulators (PGRs) are important factors for successful embryo rescue. Four medium formulas: Brooks and Hough (BH), Woody Plant (WP), Gilmore, and Monet, were compared for their effects on rescuing immature embryo of peach and later development into seedlings. The results indicated that all media allowed embryos to continue their development and generated high percent germination ( >80%). Seedlings germinated in WP and BH were significantly larger in size than those in either Monet or Gilmore. Survival rate of transplanted seedlings was highest in WP (54.4%). Overall observation pointed to WP as the best culture medium in rescuing immature peach embryos. In the following experiment, the response of immature embryos to PGRs: BA and GA3, in WP was evaluated for germination and seedlings formation. Most embryos germinated well (>85%) with or without PGRs; however, resulting seedlings showed much difference. Numbers of seedling with dead shoot tips were much lower when either or both PGRs were added in the medium. The results showed that WP with 0.1 mg/l GA3 and either 0.5 or 1.0 mg/l BA yielded 100% germination and no rosetting seedlings. Significant linear responses (P = 0.04) of seedling height and quadratic responses (P = 0.03) of seedling dry weight were observed with GA3. Seedlings showed significant linear response (P < 0.01) with BA for their leaf number, but total leaf area remained comparable. Positive correlations between seedling dry weight with root length (r = 0.23), root number (r = 0.49), leaf number (r = 0.24) and leaf area (r = 0.3) were significant, while that between dry weight and seedling height was not significant. |
